🪷 113-Baranagar Assembly Constituency

A Humble Appeal for Baranagar

I have been an active and dedicated Karyakarta of BJP for the past 41 years, working at grassroots, district, and state levels. As a resident of Baranagar and a practicing advocate, I remain closely involved with the public on legal, social, and administrative matters.

I am deeply associated with multiple mass organizations — unorganised labour unions, women workers' forums, daily wage associations, drivers' unions, rickshaw pullers, and jute mill unions — who form a significant voter base in the constituency.

Baranagar, with over 2.45 lakh voters, has consistently witnessed candidates being selected from outside, which has adversely impacted local morale and organisational strength. Despite promising starts, our candidates have often remained absent post-election, leading to resentment, erosion of trust, and weak booth-level presence.

I respectfully submit that this time, the party should consider a local, loyal, and connected candidate to revive BJP's grassroots in Baranagar. Given my 41 years of dedicated service, deep public connect, and unblemished credentials, I humbly offer myself as a candidate for your kind consideration.

I assure you of a decisive victory in the 2026 Assembly Election, given the present socio-political equations, proper booth planning, and mobilisation of the vast voter base (including the 35,000 chit fund victims residing within the Baranagar Constituency).
